Online Payments
MAKE A PAYMENT
Troop 167 recognizes that with today’s busy families, the days of check-books and cash on-hand are rare. To provide as much convenience as possible, Troop 167 accepts several payment methods for yearly dues, campouts, KwikTrip cards, and other troop payments.
Venmo
Troop 167 is now accepting on-line payments via Venmo. Venmo allows you to conveniently make payments using your cell phone or computer from your Bank account, Debit Card, or Credit Card. Payments using a bank account have no extra fees.
To make payments you will need to start by creating a Venmo account at https://venmo.com/ or by installing the Venmo app on your smart phone/tablet and following the prompts.
Here is how you can use Venmo to make payments:
- Download the iOS or Android app.
- Tap the pen and paper icon.
- You can type in the name “@Stoughton-ScoutTroop”, or go to the link below.
- If asked to verify last 4 digits of phone number, use “7100“
- Enter payment amount and for the description, enter the scout’s name and event (ex: “Sam Scout – Registration”).
- VERY IMPORTANT: Do not use “Turn on for purchases”. If you have “Turn on for purchases” the troop is charged a fee and that fee will be deducted from your scout’s account.
If you are paying for multiple scouts, camps or events, you may pay for everything with one transaction. When paying for multiple campers or events, please add to the payment’s description what and for whom you are paying.

Checks
You may hand-deliver checks to the Troop Treasurer, preferably at the weekly Troop meetings. Please make checks payable to “Troop 167”.
If you are paying for multiple scouts, camps or events, you may pay for everything with one check. When paying for multiple campers or events, please add to the check’s note line what and for whom you are paying.
The Troop prefers not to handle any cash. Thank you for your understanding.
